Sony Group Corp. announced an exclusive game for PlayStation VR2, its next-gen virtual reality headset. The Japanese gaming giant introduced a teaser for Horizon: Call of the Mountain while unveiling the new headset.

PlayStation VR2 comes with an upgraded headset and sense controllers, promising improved visual fidelity, head and eye tracking as well as vibration feedback. The new hardware targets greater immersion and could prove to be among the popular gateways into metaverse offerings from the likes of Epic Games Inc. Guerrilla Games Studio director Jan-Bart van Beek wrote that they designed Horizon: Call of the Mountain to push hardware technology, innovation and gameplay.
